Disney Night Before Christmas NYC Activation Event

Saturday we were hired to photograph Disney’s celebration of “Christmas in July” featuring the Night Before Christmas. The event was an activation with merchandise, characters, live music, and non-alcoholic drinks. As NYC Event Photographers we photograph a wide array of events from store openings and activations promoting brand awareness to more formal conferences and galas/fundraisers.

Hire a professional NYC event photographer who knows and understands the type of photos you are looking for. Great photos show your guests engaged. Great photos make great marketing and advertising content.

Prior photographing the event, I requested a “shot list” from the client detailing the type of images they were looking for and what specifically we should photograph besides the usual. Event photographers are not always tasked with just photographing posed and candid photos of people. Often we are responsible for photographing the room setup, which will be used for future reference, photos of product, and photos of special VIPs with certain guests or board members. As a professional photographer, I know the types of questions to ask before I even arrive.

What makes the best Professional NYC Event Photographer the best is their experience!

Having photographed hundreds of events throughout New York City and beyond, I know what and when I need to photograph. I always arrive early to capture setup photos, as not to get guests / staff in my shots, and to make sure I am ready to go at event start time.

On today’s shoot, I wanted to show off the production team’s attention to detail in the set’s design and the location of the event. I photographed a ton of setup photos and tried as much as possible to feature New York City in each shot. For a photo looking down at the event, I went to the top floor of a nearby building.

A professional family photographer captures the true spirit of your family.

You deserve a professional photographer that captures the true spirit of your family and what makes your family, your family. Hiring a photographer who is both friendly and patient will be the absolute key to capturing amazing photos, especially with young children. On today’s family session, I knew we’d be taking several snack breaks and toy breaks to regain the kids attention, so in planning the shoot I purposefully blocked out my morning. This family session wasn’t booked as a “90 minute session” or as“2 hours with overtime” as many photographers often do. I’m not interested in rushing anyone. I’m interested in capturing fun and happy family photos.

The best Long Island Family Photographer is an experienced family photographer because as we all know, there’s Instagram and then there’s reality.

Capturing family lifestyle photos are just as important as capturing the traditional posed family photos. Often the lifestyle photos are the best photos because they are organic and the emotions captured are natural, not posed.

For this shoot, we discussed capturing both traditional posed family photos and lifestyle shots (I.e. kids playing with their toys, bouncing on the bed). As I photographed this Long Island family, we alternated between posed formal poses and the fun candid moments. The constant change between “Look here and smile” (formal family photos - traditional) and “let’s play with the building blocks” (candid lifestyle) really kept the kids relaxed and engaged as I took photos.

Austin & Tiegan - Domino Park Brooklyn Proposal

Coming from out of state? This proposal photographer knows NYC.

Whether you’ve been a New Yorker your whole life or you are here for just the day, we’ll help make your NYC Secret Proposal Photography experience as stress-free and as memorable as the skyline.

Every NYC Proposal is unique. That’s why I love being a NYC Proposal Photographer.

Austin and Tiegan had been dating off and on for years while they both live in Michigan. And then, Tiegan moved to New York for a new job. But that didn’t stop Austin or Tiegan from ending things! The two kept talking, planning trips, and making plans to see one another. Austin would drive through out the night, from Michigan to New York, after work on Fridays to see Tiegan. He’d arrive early Saturday morning just to leave Sunday morning.

Finding the right Proposal Photographer to capture your proposal is….

Upon searching “NYC Proposal Photographer” Austin found Jonathan Heisler Photography, and after telling us his story, we knew he needed an iconic New York location. Domino Park in Brooklyn, NY shows off the Manhattan skyline quite well. It’s also a spot they visit often. The Brooklyn parks’ views of the NYC skyline are the perfect backdrop to a secret proposal session.

proposal photographers in NYC are notjust there to photograph your proposal. We are here to help you plan your NYC Proposal.

On the big day, the two met with some friends and walked the waterfront until Austin tapped Tiegan on the shoulder. He then dropped to one knee with the sunset surrounding them. She quickly said “yes!”.

Edmund & Melody (Abandoned) NYC Restaurant Proposal

Proposing in a restaurant is cool. Proposing in your very own private restaurant is cooler. Now, proposing in your very own restaurant with just the two of you is even cooler yet. Photographing Edmund's proposal in side of his closed NYC restaurant is a memory I will never forget. It was a first for this NYC Proposal Photographer.

Nadine and Emily's Joint NYC Birthday Party

As an Event Photographer it is my job to photograph happy moments!

As a NYC Event Photographer, I photograph all different types of events from Corporate Events to fundraisers and galas to family parties and birthday parties. Saturday night, I photographed the joint birthday party of two sisters at Elsie Rooftop in Midtown Manhattan, not too far from Times Square.

the list of NYC birthday party venues is endless. picking the perfect space for a birthday party is hard. Sometimes it’s even harder finding a space that will allow a birthday party photographer.

The sisters booked a private space with an outdoor patio at Elsie Rooftop. Unfortunately, we couldn’t fully utilize the rooftop patio throughout the party as the weather did not cooperate. However, we were able to photograph several photos of each girl outside on the patio before the rain and the party started. Elsie Rooftop had great food, music, and an atmosphere everyone could enjoy. For me, as an event photographer, I was able to easily move around and photograph guests without bumping in to people.

Birthday party photographers should photograph posed group photos, candid moments, and everything in between.

The sisters hired me to not only photograph their birthday party, but also to photograph a mini-session of them before their party. As a NYC Birthday Party photographer, I don’t only just photograph the party. I also photograph the details of the party, their guests having a good time, and the birthday person(s). Prior the party, I photographed each sister outside and indoors with some easy poses.

Trisha's Long Island Bridal Shower

You can’t stop a Long Island Bridal Shower Party.

Before the COVID-19 epidemic Trisha was supposed to get married to Adam, and I was supposed to photograph her bridal shower. However, as we all now know, that did not happen and nor did Trisha’s wedding. So, 16 months later, Trisha finally had her bridal shower and I finally got to be her bridal shower photographer.

An event photographer should capture every detail and every moment no matter how small. These little details help tell the story of your event.

As a Bridal Party photographer or even as an engagement party photographer my goal is to capture the story of the moment. For Trisha’s Long Island bridal shower party, her mom went all out with the details, decorations, and games. I made sure to photograph every detail and every moment. From the New Orleans Mardi Gras theme denoting the couples New Orleans ties where they attended and met at at Tulane University to the bride’s Indian background I made sure to photograph it.

Whether on Long Island or in NYC, a Bridal Shower requires the same must have “ingredients”.

Trisha’s friends and family all attended her bridal shower at the North Hills Country Club in Manhasset, NY on Long Island. When photographing her party I made sure to get posed and candid photos of both Trisha, and her guests.

Location: North Hills Country Club in Manhasset
