When couples ask me about the best places for a Brooklyn Bridge proposal, they're usually looking for three things: iconic views, great photo opportunities, and a location that feels personal. The area surrounding DUMBO and Brooklyn Bridge Park offers all three.

Where to Plan a Proposal in the Rain in NYC

Rain is one of the most common concerns couples have when planning a proposal in New York City. While locations like Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge Park, and Gantry Plaza are beautiful on clear days, a rainy forecast doesn't mean you need to postpone your proposal. In many cases, some of the best NYC proposal locations are actually indoors.

As a New York City proposal photographer, I've photographed proposals in museums, historic landmarks, libraries, and transit hubs throughout the city. These locations provide cover from the weather while still offering beautiful backdrops and a memorable experience.
