Mitchell's proposal was photographed candidly from a distance so the surprise remained genuine and uninterrupted. I focussed on the lines of the pond to bring you eye to the couple throughout the proposal. After the proposal, we explored several nearby locations for engagement portraits, including:

There are few places in New York City that combine breathtaking skyline views, quiet places to picnic, and a sense of privacy quite like the northern Central Park around the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. On a early summer afternoon, Malcolm chose this location to ask his girlfriend the BIG QUESTION!
