Peyton's Proposal atop Central Park's Cat Rock

Cat’s Rock sits above the Central Park Wollman ice skating rink. This proposal location provides a view of “Billionaire Row” and it’s very conveniently located in the southern part of Central Park, near Gapstow Bridge. I suggest this spot to many clients when they ask about proposing in Central Park and capturing a view of NYC. While the daytime is a great time for photos at Cat’s Rock, dusk as the city lights come lets this spot shine!

Will's Rainy Central Park Surprise Proposal

The Bow Bridge in Central Park is a very popular place to propose in New York City. However, it's typically very crowded, not private, and the bridge itself can be narrow. On today's surprise proposal, the weather was not ideal, wet and cold, but it kept the park empty for Will's big moment.

Brenden's Springtime Central Park Proposal

In the heart of New York City, amidst the bustling streets and towering skyscrapers, is an oasis known as Central Park. Here, beneath the warm glow of a setting sun, we had the pleasure of photographing Brenden’s surprise marriage proposal to Sarah. This special spot just past the Bow Bridge is iconic NYC. However, unlike so many well known places in this city, this spot is most private.

A Match Made in Central Park: Central Park, an iconic landmark known for its picturesque landscapes, provided the perfect backdrop for photographing proposals and engagement sessions. As the golden hour approached, its light casts a mesmerizing glow over the park.

A Winter Afternoon Proposal in Central Park, NYC

Iconic, is the first word that comes to mind when I hear “I want to propose in Central Park”. In late December New York City is a magical place in every sense. Christmas lights are strung, garland is wrapped, horse drawn carriages are clacking around the park, and the cold brisk NYC wind makes warmth feel so much more deserving. Whether it’s the warmth of a hot chocolate in your hand or your partners hand, something warm feels good.

While the leaves and greenery are long gone from Central Park, the views are abundant. The stark contrast between you and the environment stands out, and when photographed it just hits difference. For Matt’s secret proposal, we chose the area just past the Bow Bridge for it’s privacy and view.
