An overcast Spring day during the work week is my favorite time to photograph. It’s so worth it, as there are no lighting limitations and no people anywhere.We helped Camilo select Ladies Pavillion “Cove” on the West Side of Central Park for the following reasons:

• Glimpses of Manhattan’s skyscrapers

• Privacy

• Lighting - In the afternoon the lighting would be soft and in the correct direction

Tim's Central Park Model Boat Pond Marriage Proposal

What’s so unique about the Model Boat pond in Central Park is how intimate and quiet this not so hidden NYC gym is. The tourists flock to Bethesda Fountain, the Bow Bridge, and the Gapstow Bridge, but the Model Boat Pond, not so much. Located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side this Central Park location is one of my favorite places to capture a surprise marriage proposal.

Vincent's Central Park Oak Bridge Secret Proposal

Finding a private and intimate place to propose in NYC is a tricky task, especially during the holiday season. The key to success is finding a controlled environment, somewhere where we can control the crowds and somewhere just off the beaten path. The gazebo just after the Oak Bridge and just before the ramble as the perfect spot for Vincent’s secret NYC proposal in Central Park.

Central Park Resevoir Evening Proposal

The Central Park reservoir was a perfect location for this golden hour surprise marriage proposal! Brian chose this part of Central Park for both it’s quietness and for its’ meaning in the couples relationship. It’s a place that is special to them as they’d frequently walk this walk.
