A Ladies’ Pavilion Proposal Filled with the Unexpected

Some proposals feel perfectly planned. Others become memorable because of the unexpected moments that happen in between. This early May proposal at the Ladies' Pavilion ended up being both.

Chance proposed on the rocks beside the lake with the Manhattan skyline and spring greenery in the background. The morning light was soft, the lake calm, and everything about the setting felt quiet and natural. The moment he got down on one knee, her first reaction was: “Are you f#c!n with me?”—immediately followed by a yes. Seconds later, their dog jumped directly into the lake, turning the proposal into something even more real and unforgettable.
