Wedding

I do... still! | Cape Cod Vow Renewals

I always photograph the first time. The first time two people come together with friends and family and say, "I do, I do". However, for John and Dawn they wanted to show their grown children their love for one another is still strong and meaningful.

Every wedding I've photographed has been an honor. With some studios photographing 250, 300 or more weddings a year, you start to realize certain unfortunate things. Every year there are about 10, or more albums which never get picked up or even finished. The odds of a successful marriage become clear.

After 30 years,  John decided to renew his vows and surprise his wife, Dawn. Dawn was presented with a special note from John and a box containing a dress. Suddenly everything became clear. She had to get ready.

20 minutes away on the Cape the rest of the family was ready and waiting for Dawn's arrival.

The Crescent Beach Club Summer Wedding - Erin and Mike

Congrats to Erin and Michael, New York’s newest and happiest married couple.

As a Long Island Wedding Photographer I have a wide variety of locations of where brides start their wedding day; mom’s house, hotel, venue, country club. My day started at Erin’s parents’ house with her getting ready. I photographed the details (jewelry, invitation, gifts), moved on to her getting her hair and makeup done, her dress hanging, and then Erin getting in to her dress.

Photographing a wedding day doesn’t feel real until the wedding dress is on the bride.

Today’s wedding couldn’t have gone more smoothly. The weather on Long Island in July is usually humid and warm, but on Erin and Mike’s wedding day the weather was ideal. The weather was cool and a constant breeze swept through Long Island, NY all day keeping us all cool.

Wedding Photographers wear many different hats. Your wedding photographer will be with you all day on your wedding day.

After getting ready we moved on to the ceremony at the church in Massapequa, NY. The drive was short and although Long Island is known for it’s traffic, traffic was no where to be found.

Long Island is an island. The Crescent Beach Club in Bayville, NY is the perfect summer wedding venue.
