COURIER “REPRESENT: Leading Voices” Event in NYC

COURIER hosted REPRESENT: Leading Voices at 49 Elizabeth Street in New York City — an evening dedicated to amplifying a new generation of leaders, creators, and strategists challenging traditional power and shaping the future of politics and media. The event featured speakers including Chi Ossé, Deja Foxx, Anderson Clayton, and Victor Shi, alongside moderators Tara McGowan, Akilah Hughes, and Amanda Litman.

The evening combined keynote conversations, panel discussions, and a networking reception that brought together political voices, digital creators, and advocacy professionals from across the country. As a photographer, my goal was to capture the energy of those exchanges — the moments between sessions, the reactions in the audience, and the atmosphere of collaboration that filled the space.

Visually, the event offered great variety: sharp lighting on stage panels, candid conversations during breaks, and relaxed group photos as guests connected after each discussion. My coverage included both wide storytelling shots that showed the environment and closer portraits that captured the expressions and focus of the speakers.

Whether photographing a panel like this or a large-scale gala, the assignment remains the same — capture people engaging, connecting, and enjoying themselves. Each image should tell a story of participation and purpose, something I strive for in every corporate and cultural event I document.

Behind the Scenes at the 2025 US Open | NYC Corporate Event Photographer

As a New York City corporate event photographer, few assignments bring together prestige and energy quite like capturing exclusive moments at the US Open. I recently covered events hosted by IBM, including an intimate conversation featuring legends Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova—two icons whose legacy continues to inspire both sports and innovation.

Their conversation wasn’t just about matches past, but about leadership, rivalry, and what’s next for the sport. I focused on capturing both formal moments—the poised stage presence and audience engagement—and those in-between, authentic interactions behind the scenes: a quiet laugh, a thoughtful gaze, or the connection between speakers and listeners.

Corporate Photography at Global Events
Photographing corporate events like this goes far beyond staged moments and group shots. It’s about capturing:

  • Authentic connections between speakers and audience

  • Brand storytelling through event design, logos, and atmosphere

  • Candid behind-the-scenes moments that matter as much as the main stage

My style marries polished group and detail shots with a storytelling approach. Whether it’s dramatic lighting, reflective surfaces, or the tension of an iconic moment, these images become more than photos—they become visual narratives that reflect brand, culture, leadership, and purpose. For businesses using these images in marketing, media, or internal branding, the difference lies in authenticity and quality.

Chanel Factory New York Summer Party at City Winery NYC

As an NYC Event Photographer working with corporate clients, I understand documenting the Chanel Factory New York Summer Party hosted at the vibrant City Winery. This evening event took place in the afternoon and went until after sunset, allowing me to capture the changing light.

I made sure to capture guests against the backdrop of the Hudson River and Lower Manhattan with the pier 26 view. I focused on capturing candid moments, including laughter between colleagues, spontaneous conversations, and posed groups. I also captured detailed shots of branded elements scattered throughout the venue.. As the event evolved into the evening, the mood shifted: the skyline lit up, and guests gathered for group portraits at sunset. I moved between staged group shots and natural, in-the-moment coverage to preserve both the formal and relaxed energy of the night.

One highlight was capturing the sunset group portraits. The mix of architecture, natural light, and guest energy allowed me to create images that feel both polished and evocative. After the event, I delivered a curated gallery that balances posed headshots, environmental storytelling shots, and detail imagery ideal for social media, press, or internal recaps.

Capturing a Company Padel Tournament in Midtown Manhattan

Corporate events and professional networking without alcohol being the sole focus continues to evolve, and one of the most exciting trends we’re seeing is the rise of activities; escape rooms, pickle / padel sports, art exhibit outings, and cooking classes. Fast-paced, engaging, social, and universally approachable activities perfectly blend friendly competition and networking. It genuinely makes a great opportunity for great, fun, happy photos. Recently, I photographd a corporate padel tournament in Midtown Manhattan, capturing not only the athletes on the court but also the conversations and connections that unfolded around the event.

Below is a “behind-the-lens” look at how we approached photographing this dynamic corporate experience—and how thoughtful event imagery elevates your brand and sells people on your culture. When capturing the event I focussed on 5 key aspects listed below:

  • Showcasing the Energy of the Game

  • Capturing the Guests Who Weren’t Playing

  • Candid Networking Moments

  • Food, Hospitality & Atmosphere

  • Balancing Branding, Candidness & Professionalism

Sati Uniti Tribeca Showroom Event with Eleonora Srugo

The Sati Uniti team hosted a special evening in their new Tribeca showroom, celebrating Italian craftsmanship and modern kitchen design. The event featured guest speaker Eleonora Srugo, known from Netflix’s Selling New York, who joined the President of Sati Uniti for a conversation on design, trends versus timeless luxury, and what continues to make New York such an iconic city.

While photographing the event, my focus was on capturing guests as they moved through the space — exploring the kitchen displays, talking design, and interacting with the fixtures themselves. The atmosphere felt relaxed and genuine, with conversations happening naturally among beautifully designed interiors. I photographed candid moments, coordinated group portraits, and posed shots with Eleonora and the Sati Uniti team.

Events like this, whether a small speaker session or a large-scale gala, share the same goal: documenting people having a good time. My approach stays consistent — capture the energy, the faces, and the moments that tell the story of the evening.

If you’re hosting a corporate event, showroom launch, or panel discussion in New York City, I provide professional coverage that blends candid storytelling with polished composition.
