“Is a second wedding photographer necessary?”
This is one of the top 10 questions I get!
I’m not trying to up sell you here, but the simple answer is “Yes”.
A second photographer offers you so much. From covering the guys getting ready, to offering additional perspectives, capturing candids when your main photographer is positioning people to, being an assistant at times, and helping us keep on schedule, a “2nd photographer” is important. Having a second photographer gives us the opportunity to be in two places at once. For example, during the getting ready photos, while the main photographer is capturing the bride and the bridesmaids getting ready along with all the wedding details, the second photographer can be in the grooms room with the groomsmen documenting all of their excitement (beer drinking) and gift exchanges and anything else that is happening there.
During the ceremony, the second photographer helps once again by adding a second angle to the entire scene. He/she is capturing not only what’s going on upfront, but guests reactions, wide angle photos of the whole scene, and more. While the main photographer is up front of the processional, the second photographer can be in the back capturing you going down the isle and all of your guests.
We work seamlessly together as a team.
