On June 18, 2017 the Binghamton Chabad completed the Binghamton Chabad Legacy Torah in New York City.

The dedication of a new Torah is traditionally celebrated with great festivity, and the specifics of the celebration vary from one community to the next. On Sunday, April 2, 2016 the Columbia-Barnard Kraft Center Hillel received their new Torah with great celebration.
